LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – 10/12/2025 – (SeaPRwire) – A new collaboration between Rolling Stone and Keepsake Trading Cards is bringing a fresh dimension to music collectibles, unveiling one of the most ambitious artist-inspired trading card collections to date. The 2025 Rolling Stone Bob Marley™ Keepsake Premiere Collection merges luxury craftsmanship with cultural heritage, offering collectors a rare opportunity to engage with the life and legacy of one of the 20th century’s most influential musicians. Built around elevated materials, limited production, and historically significant artifacts, the collection reflects the growing demand for premium memorabilia rooted in storytelling and authenticity.
The collection draws inspiration from three iconic Rolling Stone magazine covers featuring Bob Marley, highlighting pivotal eras of his musical journey and global influence. Each trading card pairs curated imagery with high-end finishes to create a collectible intended for both fans and serious collectors. All cards are individually numbered, produced in highly restricted quantities, and packaged blind to preserve the excitement of opening each piece.
At the heart of the release is its rarest chase item—a one-of-a-kind relic card embedded with an authentic fragment of Marley’s personal tour piano, famously used during the 1980 Uprising tour with The Wailers. The series expands this concept by integrating additional precious materials across other relic cards, including diamonds, rubies, gold, and platinum, ensuring no two cards are alike. Each six-box “master” case is guaranteed to include one private-collection relic card containing a piano fragment and one special Rolling Stone cover card featuring photography by Annie Leibovitz.
The full lineup comprises 250 unique cards, with six artistic variations for each design: Rainbow (15 copies), Swirl (10), Ice (10), Sheen (10), Fireworks (5), and the ultra-rare Vinyl edition (limited to only one card). Three special Rolling Stone chase cover cards follow a similar rarity structure, ranging from 99 copies for the Rainbow edition to a single card produced for the Vinyl version.
Collectors can choose between purchasing individual cards at $100 each or a master case of six blind-wrapped cards priced at $600. The 2025 Bob Marley Premiere Collection will open for exclusive pre-release access on January 7, 2026, with pre-orders available immediately.
“Rolling Stone continues to explore new ways of honoring artists who shape culture,” said Julian Holguin, CEO of Rolling Stone. “Through this partnership with Keepsake, we’re transforming Marley’s legacy into a collectible experience that bridges music, art, and history across generations.”
Cedella Marley—Grammy-winning singer, designer, author, and daughter of Bob Marley—emphasized the personal significance of the project. “This collection celebrates my father in a way that’s never been done before. Fans will have the chance to hold a true piece of history, whether through the imagery, the artifacts, or the storytelling behind each card,” she said.
Rolling Stone and Keepsake have also partnered with Dave & Adams, one of North America’s leading trading-card retailers, for a livestream debut scheduled on Fanatics.live on December 17, 2025. Select items will be auctioned during the event, with proceeds supporting the Bob & Rita Marley Foundation’s hurricane-relief initiatives in Jamaica. Additional release information is available on Rolling Stone and Keepsake’s official websites.
